The Company
Our client is a Global Market leader in accounting software with office across the globe and millions of users worldwide including many Fortune 100 companies.  Based out of their state of the art offices in South Dublin they are looking for an experienced Business Development manager to join the team as they continue to grow.  

Role and Responsibilities: 
Lead the recruitment, development, and continuous coaching of a high-performing BDR (Business Development Representative) team focused on global Net New Business opportunities.
  • Devise, manage, and execute effective lead generation strategies in collaboration with the Business Development team.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to optimize lead sources and enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of excellence within the BDR function, ensuring team members consistently achieve their individual and collective monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Provide training and support to team members, fostering a hard-working and winning culture.
  • Implement an ongoing improvement training plan for BDRs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to assess progress, identify areas for development, and encourage professional growth.
  • Identify and advocate for the implementation of new tools and workflows to enhance lead generation processes, report on metrics, and achieve KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the broader Sales and Marketing team to develop compelling collateral, use-case summaries, social media content, and campaigns to support BDR prospecting activities.
Skills and Qualifications: 
  • 5 years of experience in a Software or technology sales environment.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience leading inside sales teams with demonstrable experience in leading and developing BDRs
  • Exhibit strong self-motivation and initiative.
  • Possess excellent coaching and training skills.
  • Ideally – strong experience with lead generation software tools.
  • Strong collaborator with experience working with cross functional teams.
The Offer: 
  • Permanent Role 
  • Base Salary €75,000 - €85,000 (flex upwards on this for very strong candidates).
