Fortis are working on a key management appointment for an important Financial Services Client who are seeking candidates who have a track record in the delivery of Infrastructure Security within financial services. This is a cross functional role requiring the individual to work seamlessly and collaboratively across Enterprise IT Services, Group Technology and the business to achieve the required outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the management maintenance and support of the Cyber Security Infrastructure solutions.
- Development and operation of Security monitoring of systems to detect issues and alerts including security incident response.
- Support the deployment of new security solutions and enhancements.
- Implement capabilities that protect key customer channels and data from Cyber Attacks.
- Build and maintain relationships with the relevant 3rd parties that support this capability in delivering robust and dependable protection for the systems and data.
- Maintain patching standards across the in scope infrastructure in line with policy.
- Support the development and implementation of the technology roadmap for each of the in-scope technologies.
- Drive the simplification of the managed environment seeking to minimise complexity while maintaining industry leading solutions and configurations.
- Support the delivery of the enterprise change programs to committed dates and budgets.
- Drive the automation first strategy eliminating repetitive tasks and enabling the focus on higher value activities.
- Develop capability to monitor secure cloud connectivity and associated solutions
- Maintain the in scope control environment ensuring the controls are fit for purpose, aligned to internal standards and regulatory requirements and seek to enhance and automate where possible
- Drive a consistent approach to Risk Management.
- Proactively seek to minimize audit findings by implementing effective and permanent solutions.
- Support the successful remediation of the findings from the current or any future external reviews.
Your Profile:
- Strong understanding of Information Security Principles and Policies.
- Detailed knowledge and experience in cyber security infrastructure delivery and operations from perimeter to end-point with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Experience in managing a complex 3rd party vendor landscape ensuring the effective support of these systems and services.
- Good leadership capabilities with the ability to lead a multidiscipline team effectively to achieve the required outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with the ability to direct activities effectively during an incident with a focus on solution determination and implementation of effective and permanent solutions.
- Stakeholder Management, with communication and influencing skills and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple mediums and to a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience in the delivery of enterprise class security solutions within significant programs that underpin business critical applications.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
- Understanding and awareness of the regulatory landscape and the associated requirements.
- Experience in effective risk management and control.
