Finance Manager - Kilkenny

Our client are looking to make their first strategic hire into their business to play a key role in driving the growth and performance of a growing group of companies. Their business plan is to buy and build a variety of entitles, creating a diversified holding company.

This person will be the finance leader and work across all areas of the business with a focus on M&A, Due Diligence, Financial Reporting and Performance Analysis - acting as Head of Finance.

The Role:

• Lead the financial operations for the group as they continue to grow
• Cashflow management both for the group and on an entity basis
• Complete Financial Due Diligence on target entities
• Be involved in managing transactions through to completion and post acquisition adjustments
• Periodic financial reporting, both at group and entity level
• Liaise with external advisors as required across tax, legal, banking and other
• Ad-hoc duties as required, given the nature of the office

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Proven initiative and ability to work on own direction
• Previous M&A or TS experience a distinct advantage
• Experience of dealing with a variety of stakeholders, particularly non-financial
• Strong analytical ability to support swift decision making
