Insurance – Commercial Lines Account Handler
The Company
Our client is a well-established insurance brokerage with an excellent reputation in the market. They are a full-service brokerage covering both personal and commercial lines as well life and investment products. This role sits on their commercial insurance team and works closely with the Commercial Manager for the business.
The Job
This is an account management role, NOT a new business or sales role. Our client is looking for an experienced commercial lines broker to manage some their highest value clients offering true excellence in customer service. As part of a small team your responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with MTAs and queries from existing customers.
- Providing advice and guidance to clients across a wide range of insurance lines.
- Staying on top of customers due for renewal, re-broking and preparing new quotes to be presented to the clients (typically dealing with 10 – 20 high value renewals each month).
- Acting as a point of contact for queries for more junior account handlers on the commercial lines team.
The Person
To be considered a good fit for this role you will need:
- To have strong commercial lines broking experience (min 3 years) with the relevant MCR qualifications ideally CIP/ACII.
- Experience dealing companies from a wide range of business sectors.
- Experience dealing with large SME and mid-market clients with annual premium values of €10k+.
- Excellent communications, strong team player.
- Hands on experience with the Applied Relay broking software.
The Offer
