Finance Assistant
Our client, a leading international Law Firm, is in search of an ambitious Finance Assistant to join their Finance Team in Dublin.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Monthly Reporting, Accounts Payable as well as any administrative tasks that arise on the Team. Experience working within a Law Firm is extremely advantageous – but a Professional Services background is a must.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing and supplier relations
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with monthly reporting, including inter-office reconciliations and VAT returns
- Prepare accounting journals and monitor prepayments and accruals
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to enhance departmental efficiency and service delivery
Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience within a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel
- Self-starter, capable of taking initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
- Detail orientated with strong verbal and written communication skills
