Finance Business Partner – Manufacturing Operations 

The Company 

Our client is Global FMCG Manufacturing and distribution Group with Operations across Europe.  This role is to support the smooth running of The Company's Irish Manufacturing operations, providing clear oversight to senior management on the performance of this area of the business. 

The Job 

• Ensure operational controls are maintained across all manufacturing and non-manufacturing sites. 
• Manage product/process costing to accurately reflect manufacturing costs and report any variances. 
• Ensure all costs are accounted for in products and address any identified variances. 
• Analyze and control product/process yields, supporting manufacturing process enhancements and reporting improvements. 
• Provide detailed weekly and top-level KPI reports for factory performance enhancement in collaboration with operations. 
• Oversee stock management, reconciliations, and control of stock write-offs. 
• Maintain operational and financial cost control. 
• Identify opportunities for continuous process/system improvement to enhance efficiency and cost savings. 
• Evaluate and monitor capital expenditure proposals. 
• Prepare budget costs and propose/evaluate cost-saving/profit-enhancing initiatives. 
• Assist in monthly management accounts completion and reporting to the Group team. 

The Person 

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/CPA/ACA). 
• 3 years' + PQE in manufacturing/operations accounting. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in work. 
• Effective time management and ability to provide clear guidance to team members. 
• Experience with integrated ERP systems. 
• Proficient in Advanced Excel and other computer skills. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
