The Company

Our client are looking to make a senior Tax hire to their practice as part of succession planning for their service lines. They offer a range of SME and sole traders accounting and tax advice, covering Business Support, Audit, Accounts, Compliance and Tax.

The Role

If you enjoy advising on a broad range of areas, building relationships and cross selling services and also have in interest in growing your own service line, then this could be a great option

• Own the Tax Service line acting as Director/Senior Manager and the primary point of contact for any clients looking for tax advice or services
• Maximize the service offering for the practice ensuring relevant areas (compliance, advisory etc) are well staffed and covered
• Drive the growth of the practice overall by working on winning new business and growing existing clients
• Build out a team of tax professionals where needed, acting as a mentor
• Work alongside the existing senior leadership team

The Person

• Qualified Tax Professional with 5+ years PQE
• Experience dealing with SMEs, Business Owners and Personal Tax clients
• Ability to build relationships with clients as a trusted advisor
• Desire to get involved outside of Tax with other projects, both internal and external
• Want to lead a service in the near term
