Assistant Accountant - Galway

Our client, a growing business within the Hospitality sector, is looking for an ambitious Part-Qualified Accountant to join their Finance Team based in Galway City.

An excellent opportunity for someone early on in their Accounting career, looking to take the next step whilst working towards their qualification.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support monthly management accounts & Balance Sheet reconciliations for various group entities, meeting deadlines
• Assist in the annual audit process
• Ensure revenue compliance
• Assist in group debtor management and creditor reconciliations
• Contribute to internal control monitoring and enhancement efforts
• Prepare financial reports to facilitate decision-making and performance understanding

Skills and Qualifications:

• Part-Qualified Accountant with 1-3 years' experience within Practice or Industry
• Excellent numeracy aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter capable of taking initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
• Detail orientated with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong IT experience, particularly MS Office

The Offer:

• Permanent Role
• €35,000 - €40,000 Depending on Experience
• Exam support
