We are working exclusively with our client a fast growing global Procure-to-Pay and Compliance technology company on the appointment of a Business Intelligence Lead. Reporting to the Director of operations we are looking for a curious, solution-driven individual, who can design and build technical solutions to meet business needs. You will have exposure to data across all facets of the business from Operations and Finance through to Sales and Marketing and be a key driver in producing a single view of our customers and business.
Responsibilities
- Be the key driver of data solutions across the company, as a key part of the Operations Group
- Be the SME for our data architecture, models and end-user BI solutions
- Gather business requirements and build BI solutions for all departments using Power BI, or alternative BI tools
- Understand and support the Microsoft Fabric architecture, ETLs and data models, troubleshooting any issues
- Build out future models and ETLs for new data requirements
- Deliver adhoc data requests where critical need for the business, with a priority on driving scalable solutions for repeatable tasks
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities where data and automation could improve their processes
- Be an advocate for data, along with Head of Operations, showing teams the value of data and ROI from investing in data solutions
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a data role.
- Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing, specifically in the Microsoft Stack.
- Expert-level skills in database querying languages and/or scripting (SQL, Python).
- Strong experience in using enterprise BI Tools (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau etc.).
- ERP experience and knowledge of business processes in accounts payable, beneficial.
