The Job

Our client, a Global Medical devices Company, seeks a motivated and analytical individual to lead their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the company's financial future by driving accurate budgeting, insightful analysis, and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the annual business planning process, including setting the roadmap, consolidating data, analysing various scenarios, and presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Spearhead the development and delivery of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial and Marketing teams to provide financial insights on new product launches and pricing strategies.
• Take ownership of the FP&A toolset, including budgeting, forecasting, and business intelligence applications. You'll be responsible for selecting, implementing, and maintaining these tools to ensure they meet the organization's evolving needs.
• Regularly analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects, offering financial expertise for business development initiatives.

The Person:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with +5 years PQE.
• A self-motivated leader with the ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative settings.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and solving complex problems.
• Deep understanding of financial planning, modeling, and analysis, encompassing annual budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and KPI analysis.
• Proficiency in business tools and systems, particularly financial planning software, analytics platforms, and business intelligence solutions.
• Strong project management skills and a proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities (including proficiency in tools like PowerPoint).
• Experience collaborating effectively with non-financial managers.
• Prior experience working within a multinational organization, ideally with the ability to influence decisions at senior levels.

• Salary €90,000 - €100,000 + bonus and benefits.
