Group Financial Accountant - North Dublin

Fortis Recruitment is actively seeking a proactive Qualified Accountant on behalf of our client, a thriving global manufacturing business based in North Dublin. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will report directly to the Group Financial Control Manager and will oversee the Month End Close process for designated Irish entities.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage Month End Close for designated entity/entities, including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliation and assist with bank account reconciliation.
• Analyze financial variances and support month-end reporting.
• Assist business stakeholders with financial reporting and ad-hoc queries.
• Drive continuous improvement in closing procedures and support ad-hoc accounting projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1-4 years PQE
• Strong communicator with an ability to work with a variety of different stakeholders
• Group/Consolidation experience
• Strong MS Excel experience
• SAP experience advantageous
