Financial Accountant 

Fortis Recruitment is in search of a Financial Accountant on behalf of our client, a growing organisation embarking on an exciting period of growth and change.

The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to the Irish market preferably in a Practice environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, oversee and review Financial Statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective client management, and proactively monitoring deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of various taxes and the tax system, including VAT, Payroll, RCT, and income taxes
• Provide mentorship and guidance to trainees and junior staff
• Variety of ad-hoc projects as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
• Detail orientated with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working within an Accountancy Practice
• Strong MS Excel experience
• Ability to work multiple assignments with varying deadlines

• €50,000 - €55,000 Depending on Experience
