AVP - CLO Fund Accounting
A global leader in alternative asset investing is looking for an AVP to join their CLO Fund Accounting team in their finance function in London’s West End.
As a vital member of the fund accounting team, you will work closely with the Senior Vice President in the supervision and oversight of the accounting records maintained by third party providers.
Primarily you will work on a growing number of closed-ended European funds across the CLO market.
Role and Responsibilities:

Perform monthly and quarterly close for investment portfolios

Perform, review and oversee daily cash and position recs

Review and oversee work of third party providers
-
Ensure appropriate accounting recognition for corporate actions and security restructurings

Monitor inter-company cash flows, capital calls and acruals

Review / prepare regulatory filings (AIFMD Annex IV, Form PF, CRS)

Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements (UK GAAP / IFRS)

Coordinate annual audits

Calculate fund and client performance
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or similar) with circa 5 years’ PQE
-
Experience working in asset manager or similar, ideally with solid understanding of CLOs and / or bank debt, equities and FX hedging

Experience performing complex reconciliations

Excellent knowledge of various fund structures such as CLOs, Risk Retention vehicles and Stand Alone funds;

Experience with Advent Geneva would be beneficial, not essential
