Our client is a well-known Global Insurance business with offices around the world and across Ireland. This role is part of their claims team primarily focussed on the settlement of personal lines liability claims and they are ideally looking for candidates with exposure to injury claims.

The Company:
Our client is a well-known Global Insurance business with offices around the world and across Ireland. This role is part of their claims team primarily focussed on the settlement of personal lines liability claims and they are ideally looking for candidates with exposure to injury claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claim Assessment and Management: Conduct thorough reviews of claims, evaluating both the financial impact (quantum) and legal responsibility (liability). Liaise effectively with customers, internal teams, and external service providers (investigators, loss adjusters, engineers, solicitors) to drive claims toward resolution.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by handling claim notifications, delivering timely updates, and maintaining open communication throughout the claims process. Strive to exceed customer expectations in all interactions.
- Claims Settlement: Achieve efficient and compliant claim settlements within authorized limits, adhering to best practices, service level agreements, and regulatory standards.
- Service Provider Management: Collaborate with approved service providers to ensure prompt, fair, and cost-effective investigations and assessments of damages.
- Claim Escalation: Identify complex or non-standard claims and escalate them to appropriate colleagues for specialized handling.
- Knowledge Sharing: Support team members through knowledge transfer, mentoring, and collaboration on challenging cases.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest quality standards in claim handling, continuously seeking improvement based on feedback and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Previous liability/injury claims management experience.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proven ability to build rapport and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- CIP qualified or working towards.
- Previous insurance industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
