Management Accountant
Management Accountant | North West Ireland
Fortis Recruitment is in search of a Management Accountant on behalf of our client, a household name and fantastic Irish brand, with a global presence.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller and would suit someone with aspirations of moving into an FC role in the near term.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate month-end close, analyse key ledger accounts, and maintain accurate journal entries, prepayments, and accruals
- Manage operational finance deliverables
- Oversee and support VAT exposure, returns and reporting
- Drive process improvements across the function, reaching into the business
- Support year-end audits and any other ad-hoc tasks required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), 1+ years PQE preferred
- Strong communicator, with an ability to work with a variety of different stakeholders
- Experience within the Retail sector is an advantage
- Strong MS Excel experience
