Internal Audit Manager – Global Retail Business

The Company

Our client, a global retailer has an immediate need for an experienced internal auditor to join and assist in leading a team in the delivery of the internal audit plan. This is newly created role due to recent growth in the business and offers excellent career growth to the right person.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with the Group Head of Internal Audit to manage audit assignments across the group.
• Leverage your expertise to develop and execute effective internal audits, focusing on high-risk areas.
• Provide actionable recommendations that address control gaps and streamline operations.
• Lead follow-up audits to ensure identified issues are resolved.
• Collaborate with the CEO and Audit Committee on special analyses and reviews.
• Foster a collaborative spirit within our small internal audit team.
• Step up and present findings to the Board and Audit Committee when needed.

Who You Are:

• A qualified accountant and trained auditor with 5-10 years of solid internal audit experience, preferably within a large organization.
• A Certified Internal Auditor (CIIA) membership is a plus.
• A proven track record of leading and motivating teams.
• An excellent communicator with strong written and presentation skills.
• A natural interpersonal and project manager who can build trust and respect with senior management.
• Highly organized and adept at prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines consistently.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (maximum 10%).

The offer

• €80k - €100k+ depending on experience.
• Dublin hybrid (3 days in office)
