Fortis Recruitment is partnering with a global life sciences leader to appoint a Senior Project Manager to its Business Integration team. The team brings acquired businesses into the organisation and makes sure each deal delivers its full value. You'll lead workstreams on a cross-functional, global integration programme and report to the Global Integration Lead.

Fortis Recruitment is partnering with a global life sciences leader to appoint a Senior Project Manager to its Business Integration team. The team brings acquired businesses into the organisation and makes sure each deal delivers its full value. You'll lead workstreams on a cross-functional, global integration programme and report to the Global Integration Lead.
The role
- Lead one or more integration workstreams, working with functional leads across a matrix organisation.
- Define the scope, objectives and success criteria for each workstream, linked to the deal's value drivers.
- Build detailed project plans with milestones, dependencies and critical path, and make sure delivery is in full and on time.
- Own the project charters, documentation, meeting minutes and RAID log.
- Report weekly to the Integration Management Office on progress, risks, escalations, and time and cost forecasts.
- Spot risks and issues early, escalate them and resolve them.
- Manage allocated budgets tightly.
- Support change management, including stakeholder impact assessments, communications planning and adoption.
- Work across countries, cultures and time zones.
- Hand over to business-as-usual teams as the integration closes out.
About you
- A proven Senior Project Manager with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programmes.
- Experience in M&A integration, separation or large-scale transformation is highly desirable.
- Able to turn strategic outcomes into clear, trackable deliverables.
- Strong at building a "one team" culture across diverse stakeholders, with sound change management and cultural awareness.
- Excellent at written and verbal communication, with the diplomacy to influence without direct authority.
- Highly organised, detail-driven and disciplined about documentation.
- Confident with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, and able to present data to senior leadership using Power BI or similar tools.
- Comfortable using AI tools to speed up reporting and documentation.
- Life sciences or regulated-industry experience and a PMP, PRINCE2 or MSP certification would be an advantage.
