JOB DESCRIPTION
The Group Finance team provides performance oversight across a portfolio of six international trading businesses, ranging from c.€5m to €1.2bn in turnover and spanning business services, packaging, print, secure identification and real estate. The team delivers monthly and annual performance reporting on each business and works directly with the finance teams of the investment companies on live projects. Roughly 50-60% of the role is reporting and analysis, with the remainder spent on business partnering across the portfolio.
Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant, from practice or industry, with a genuine curiosity about how businesses work and the drive to grow your career. Newly qualified Big 4 ACAs are welcome to apply, from FS or non-FS audit. This role suits someone ready to move beyond pure technical delivery into commercial finance. - Proven progression - previous holders of this role have gone on to Financial Manager and FD level Portfolio of six international businesses with c.€1.6bn combined revenue
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and the finance teams of each investment company Blend of performance reporting and business partnering on live projects Small, focused team where strong performers are recognised and promoted
- Own monthly and annual performance reporting across the portfolio businesses
- Analyse results, KPIs and variances and provide clear commentary for senior leadership
- Partner with investment company finance teams on live projects as they arise
- Support group reporting and consolidation using Oracle FCCS Contribute to investment management and performance analysis across the portfolio
- Build strong working relationships with finance teams across the group
- Support ad hoc analysis and projects, with occasional travel as required
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), from practice or industry
- Newly qualified Big 4 ACAs welcome, from FS or non-FS audit
- Strong analytical and Excel skills - Oracle FCCS or consolidation experience a plus
- Curiosity about how businesses work and a genuine motivation to grow
- Clear communicator, confident engaging with senior stakeholders
- Office-based in Dublin 4 - prepared to be in 5 days a week, with Monday or Friday WFH typically offered once embedded
- Right to work in Ireland
