AML Manager
A leading global alternative investment manager is hiring an AML Manager to lead its Dublin AML team. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the local Head of Unit with full ownership of a growing team.
This is an operational, hands-on and high-visibility role. We’re looking for an experienced AML manager who wants to help build and grow their team.

- 🟣 Lead a growing team of 10 direct reports
- 🔵 Direct line of contact to the local Head of Unit with a genuine influence on strategy
- 🟣 Close collaboration with the overseas office regarding alignment and service quality
- 🔵 Broad remit spanning onboarding, screening, transaction monitoring, including financial crime controls
- 🟣 Regular exposure to regulators, internal audit and assurance reviews
THE ROLE
- 🟣 Direct the daily operational delivery of the Dublin AML team
- 🔵 Manage and develop direct reports, including performance and succession planning
- 🟣 Act as a senior escalation point for client and stakeholder matters
- 🔵 Support regulatory inspections, internal audit, and compliance testing
- 🟣 Drive process improvement across workflow design, technology, and automation
- 🔵 Own risk management within the AML unit, including procedure and checklist updates
- 🟣 Prepare and present management information to senior stakeholders
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 🟣 8-10 years' experience in fund administration, investor onboarding, and financial crime compliance
- 🔵 Proven experience leading AML teams of 5 or more people
- 🟣 Professional qualification such as CAMS, LCI or equivalent
- 🔵 Strong stakeholder management skills with client-facing experience
- 🟣 Central Bank of Ireland inspection or audit experience is an advantage
- 🔵 Change management experience
