This role will be responsible for the preparation of accounts and financial reporting, alongside the ongoing financial monitoring and analysis of a diverse portfolio of client properties. The position will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial information, supporting strong financial oversight and delivering high quality reporting to clients and stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for the preparation of accounts and financial reporting, alongside the ongoing financial monitoring and analysis of a diverse portfolio of client properties. The position will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial information, supporting strong financial oversight and delivering high quality reporting to clients and stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting for a portfolio of properties, including detailed budget variance analysis
- Prepare trial balances, supporting schedules and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and complete financial records
- Complete property valuation adjustments and straight line accounting adjustments
- Calculate asset management fees and maintain accurate supporting workings
- Manage third party and intercompany loan accounting
- Prepare bad debt provisions and tax provisions
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure ongoing VAT compliance
- Manage RCT compliance and related reporting requirements
- Prepare annual financial statements and comprehensive audit file
- Liaise with external auditors, responding to queries and ensuring the timely completion and finalisation of accounts
- Develop and improve month end procedures and processes to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
- Provide occasional support with routine accounting transactions and credit control during periods of increased activity
Your Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant or strong finalist, ideally with around 2 years’ relevant industry experience
- Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge
- Good understanding of IFRS and local GAAP
- Experience with internal controls and financial processes
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a commercially minded approach
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
- Confident working independently while also contributing effectively within a team
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach with the initiative to identify and resolve issues
- Experience with property accounting systems would be advantageous
